Intel Art Class-Bring Out Your Inner Artist

For so long, I thought I had lost my ability to draw or paint, because it was years ago when I was still able to draw the girls in Sailor Moon, Mari-Chan or even Candy Candy’s! I also had painted several art projects on canvas using oil paint. The results were acceptable, for an 8 years old. :p

So the thought never crossed my mind, that one day I would experience drawing on a device, other than paper or canvas (also wall, in my case). So one day, “that” day has finally come. I got invited by Intel Indonesia to an event called “Intel Art Class.” I always get excited when it comes to attending techie events, especially those  held by Intel. I didn’t have any idea of what Intel was up to because the theme was “Get In Touch With Your Inner Artist”. I surmised this must be some kind of drawing class or carving class even! But what does it all have to do with Intel?

I had introduced you to the latest range of Intel Ultrabook Convertible and how it make a lot of difference in terms of working effectively. This time I had given the chance to have my hands on Acer Iconia W700. Aside from the latest Ultrabook Convertible designs ranging from the ability to fold, swivel, slide or detach, its operating system, Microsoft Windows 8, also holds the key to an awesome and bewitching user experience Intel has initially brought in the first place. As a dedicated Windows user, I found that Windows 8 is radically different. To me, it almost feels like a different operating system. It took me 30 minutes to figure everything out myself (might be less than 15 minutes if I wasn’t so shy to ask for help, though :p) (more…)
