Current Obsession: The Body Shop Bath & Body Products

In our office, the one person who stands out out the most for collecting tons of body lotions is Lita, Mommies Daily‘s Managing Editor. If she steps into a store where she can see body lotion on the shelves, the probability of her bringing home at least one bottle of lotion is pretty high :D

Her obsession with body care products has moved me (I know, I know, it’s a lame excuse), and now I have new additions to my bath & body products.  All of them are from The Body Shop; come to think of it, I have two Body Butters from The Body Shop at home that still have a long way to go, but hey. What more can I say, except two cheers for more Body Butters!

The Body Shop has values that I admire because they are consistently taking steps support the environment.  They participate in preserving nature by conducting campaigns and asking their customers to join these positive movements.  I don’t see why I couldn’t love this brand.

Of these seven products, only two of them that are categorized as makeup and skincare.  The rest fall into the bath & body department.  First up is the pink family, Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Butter and White Musk Libertine Fragrance Mist.  Japanese Cherry Blossom has a very nice scent that I love instantly right after I smell it whereas the body mist is great for everyday use, and I place it on my desk so I have a standby fragrance in the office.

The next sequence is the Moringa family.  I got Moringa Milk Body Lotion, Moringa Body Butter, and Moringa Shower Gel. Another body butter and body lotion won’t hurt, right? Right? :D  Since I have quite a few options after a bath and each of them come with their own trademark scent, I can use them alternately.

And last but not least are the exceptions: skincare and makeup products. The  Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser is good as a temporary replacement since I’ve used up my trusted cleansing gel and haven’t got the chance to buy a new one. Then there’s the Divide & Multiply Mascara in Black.  I don’t know what’s gotten into me, because lately I’ve been trying new mascaras that with different bristles, and I am lovng it.  I love to compare products and find the right one for my lashes.  I will write an article on the top three or top five mascaras that work well on me after collecting enough candidates for that post :)

You can find The Body Shop products easily in malls, and I think almost every single mall here in Jakarta has a The Body Shop store. If you live in another city, you still can get them by purchasing online through The Body Shop Online Store, because they ship all around Indonesia.  If there is a particular product that you want me to review, feel free to tell me in the comment box below!
