At Last! H&M Brings Swedish Style to Indonesia

But I must confess: as excited as I am to update my wardrobe with some beautiful new frocks every month, I’m more excited about the prospect of getting my updates from the men’s department! I’ve been more inexplicably obsessed with men’s fashion than I need to be, which is why I am really stoked about the upcoming collaboration with Isabel Marant! H&M was one of the first fast fashion labels to collaborate on successful collections with names found within haute couture circles, and the resulting limited-edition items normally sell out within mere hours. The Paris-born Marant will join an illustrious list of guest designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Roberto Cavalli, and Jimmy Choo; other fashion houses H&M have worked with are Viktor & Rolf, Lanvin, and Maison Martin Margiela.

If you’re not familiar with the name, Isabel Marant is the eponymous house established by the Parisian in 1994. The label is known for its trademark French sense of je ne sais quoi in clothing philosophy, quickly rising to become the very picture and definition of effortless beauty. Marant shot to mainstream attention when she brought the hi-top sneaker back by inserting a concealed platform and wedge. The wedge sneaker has since become a ubiquitous part of many street style blogs; and while many other brands have released their own watered-down version of the sneaker, none hold a candle to the original.

So are you as excited for the arrival of H&M as we are? Feel free to hit us up in the comments section!
