Lookbook Love: Spring with Character Look from Pedro
I love writing. But in particular, I love writing about products that I actually love. Double the love.
Working with Fashionese Daily means that I no longer need to find information myself. Most of the time, they come to me – to my desk to be exact. Just like this lookbook of the latest collection from Pedro – a shoe brand that is the sister company of Charles & Keith. As you’re well aware, I love them because they’re utterly comfortable, as well as affordable, considering that their materials are mostly leather.
Spring is the best season to get colourful shoes, because the colour hues are just so bright and fun. It’s also a time to challenge yourself to step outside the box of the normal nude and black pumps. Pedro Spring/Summer 2013 collection is very strong in character with the play of combination of different materials such as attachment of bright colour hues on simple nude peep toes, or a panel of exotic leather to fierce up what otherwise classic pumps, giving it a new interpretation of nude shoes. There’s a lot of vibrancy going on with the selection of colours from cobalt blue, red and yellow.
As for those who need stronger character for their shoes, Pedro comes with a variety of exotic snake embossing shoes and matching bags. But I personally love the whimsical butterfly prints collection, that is yearning to be taken out for holiday!
