Yay or Nay: The Leopard Stole

Leopard print can be tacky sometimes, but accessories such as stole, is more versatile. Choosing a leopard print stole over the usual rectangle scarf, exudes that effortless chic aura, as proven by Kiera Knightley and Sienna Miller.

Stole falls more naturally, usually made of lighter material, and therefore is perfect to grace our neck, even in our kind of weather.

It goes with every look too, perfect to accessorize your black suit attire and for a more casual get up. A little word of caution from us, if you want to wear this accessory, best to keep everything in solid and avoid mixing it with prints. Especially, when the prints is another leopard or animal prints piece, that’s where things can get real tacky, real soon :)

And apparently, this leopard stole doesn’t have to be all in the beige and black colour, mimicking the natural leopard print. Kate Moss’ one is a really nice muted baby blue and green moss.

I’m beginning to see a pattern here. That the leopard stole, in whatever colour, might be the next ‘it scarf’. Is it going to replace Alexander McQueen’s skull scarf? Only time will tell.

So, what stole is actually gracing the neck of these three ladies? It’s none other than Louis Vuitton Leopard Stole, which is a part of Louis Vuitton – Stephen Sprouse collection, which was released back in Spring/Summer 2001. When Sprouse created this stole, he want to create something that mix the feel of downtown and uptown style. The design of the stole’s print reflects Sprouse’s vision very well. ┬áThe brown leopard print wasn’t the first one to come out, it’s previously proposed to be available in red, black and grey. But the brown one can be the winner, because of it exudes a timeless sense of style.

You cannot expect anything than extraordinary from Louis Vuitton. That’s why, this stole is created with fragile and delicate Cashmere, that will caress your neck ever so softly.

What do you think? Is a leopard print stole a yay or nay? And is the Louis Vuitton Leopard Etoile is going to be the next big thing? Take your vote, ladies!
