Saira Nisar, a Lasalle College Singapore-graduate designer saw this opportunity and turned it into something real: Trademark Event, an emporium of unique products. On the weekend of 26-30 April 2012, four days bazaar was held at Paris Van Java Mall, Bandung. This is the third Trademark event, and this time there were 100+ tenants participating in this event. Various booths from clothes, shoes, bags, vintage cameras and (fashionable) food gathered to offer you one good shopping ambience. In this event, the 100 booths were located in two floors, making it the first 2-floored bazaar i've ever attended. Innovative, I must say. It was making me more comfortable to stroll around and shop, not over-crowded, with great circulation path for people. Approximately 62,000 people attended this four days event. This event also showcased "Fashionable" Food. Why do I call it Fashionable? Because these are the food trending all over social media like Twitter and Instagram, because of their appealing colours and shapes. Selections of rainbow cakes from <a href="http://www.twitter.com/Arromanis">Arromanis</a>, red velvet cake from <a href="http://www.twitter.com/wpbites">Whiteplate</a>, fabulous eclairs from <a href="http://www.twitter.com/pompidoutweets">Pompidou</a> and <a href="http://www.twitter.com/SUNKISSdaiva">Sunkiss Jellies</a> were available at the food stalls. Trademark provided such great ambience for local designers and brands to showcase themselves. They even gave heavy discounts on the last two days. Who wouldn't love strolling around grabbing local brand's piece at 50%, and munching on rainbow sunkiss jelly afterwards? ;) You see, great bazaar is not only exclusively available for those reside in Jakarta. We, who live in Bandung, can have it too. I can't wait for the next Trademark Event and see what other new talents that I can scout.
