Spring Most Alluring Palettes

Well, maybe we don’t have the privilege to indulge the real Spring, but this season we definitely see colors everywhere! With these bursts and splashes, surely you don’t want to miss the idea of living colorfully, do you?

From fashion to beauty, they really made it a wide choice of colors to freshen up your look. Liking the idea to refresh the shades already in your makeup stash? We’ve got these Spring 2012 latest make up palettes ready to hit your purse.

Stila In the Garden Palette $39

The new In the Garden Eye Shadow Palette is a stunning collection of Stila’s award-winning eye shadows in wearable, botanical-inspired shades for every skin tone. I like the color selection, not too candy-colored, they’re more like colorful in earthy-tone. It gets my favor since it also includes an exclusive Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Starfish (black with gold and green pearl)! Love the unique color with a bit sparkles on. You can get this palette for $39.

Smashbox Be Discovered Eyeshadow Palette $44

Pastel lids rule this spring! Well, that’s what Smashbox observed from latest SS runway. Do you feel the same? If you feel like the look of Japanese model with some sheer eyeshadow colors, this might be the palette. But do not expect much, since some reviews say it doesn’t have a strong color payoff.

Another tips from Smashbox, finish up any look with a touch of the opal shade on inner corners of the eyes. Instantly brightening!

Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette – Mi Vida Loca Palette $36

This collection from Kat Von D kicks off with eight stunning eye shadows and an on-the-go mini eyeliner, each in a daring shade that embraces the heritage of 80’s neon colors. Upon some swatches I found, it resembles the Stila Garden palette, with more intense and bold stroke. The eyeliner has a creamy, waterproof formula that glides on smooth along the lash line for a bold result. The sleek metal case is embossed with a hand-drawn design in a profusion of sassy, neon colors.

Lancome Les Yeux Doux Palette $49

Les Yeux Doux means “Soft Eyes”, or maybe too soft? :) Lancome aims to create a fresh, sensual eye look, just in time for the Spring. Available in two 5-color palettes, Rose Romance and Vert Tendresse.

For a rosy, sensual look, 206 Rose Romance consists of soft pinks, peach and burgundy. For a bright statement, use 502 Vert Tendresse, a warm palette with shades of mint and forest greens.

I do have one Lancome eyeshadow palette, in neutral shades. And usually, you’ll be satisfied with the formula and easy application. Based on Lancome, this palette also has long wear, eight-hour formula. Color does not fade, continues to stay true.

MAC  Spring Trend Lip Palette $38

Spotted some lip color trends on this season runway? You can have it soon, as MAC has released this spring palette for pro makeup, and should be generally available soon. This exact palette, snapped in backstage of New York Fashion Week Spring 2012 at Jeremy Lang show.  With 6 daring colors, 4 of which are amplified finishes and 2 are cremesheens: Preferred Pink (Amp), Fully Ripe (Amp), Louder Lilac (Amp), Pulse (Amp), Warm to Bare (CS), and Make Me Melt (CS). This palette has a great review lately, from the lasting colors and light vanilla scent. All the colors are fit the spring trend, making them fun, even when not all of them are always wearable for everyday use.

In case you eventually fall in love in one of these palettes, they should be available in Sephora Singapore or you can have it ordered from our Market Plaza.
