I did a little DIY project with the handkerchief scarf that I bought from Our Vintage House. Since the size is very small, there’s not much you can do with it. You can always tie it around your neck or just tie it on your bags handle. But there’s another thing that you can do with it, that is to use it to wrap your bangle and create a new accessory as seen on this today’s outfit post.
Want to know how to make them? Here’s how:
What you need: A handkerchief scarf that is around 40x40cm or 50x50cm and a medium size bangle
STEP 1: Fold the handkerchief scarf until it’s only around 3 to 4 cm wide
STEP 2: Place the folded scarf onto the bangle and start to wrap the scarf around it.
STEP 3: Wrap the scarf around the bangle until all of it is covered.
STEP 4: Secure the scarf by tying a knot in the end. I purposely let one end longer than the other so it will show the embroidery at the corner of the scarf. I secure the other end of the scarf inside the knot. But you can do it anyway you want.
So that’s it. Just a simple do-it-yourself, done just under five minutes, but will surely add a nice touch to your outfit.
