What is it? Lancôme Teint Miracle Foundation Natural Light Creator
The Claim: This is the result of 10 years of research and 7 patents pending: this foundation promises to be able to recreate the aura of perfect skin. Instantly after application, our complexion appears lit-from-within. Its miracle? Aura-InsideTM Technology, which is a natural light creator combining a new generation of pigments inspired by Optical research applied to Biology, with a unique liquid light essence. This liquid light essence is constituted with fine lustrous geometric lamina and the essence of light works as “liquid micro-mirrors”, five times smaller than traditional mother of pearl. It is said to spectacularly boosts skin’s surface radiance, without ever being shiny. Still want more? Lancôme Teint Miracle is also infused with skincare active ingredients, so it’s able to hydrate skin for 18 hours, leaving it instantly luscious and plumped. Skin is smoothed, more able to reflect light and gains transparency to better reveal its inner light. Even after make-up removal.
The Star Ingredients: Bear with me because it’s going to be a rather long list. It contains:
- The new pink bioptic pigment: with its mineral core and its organic shell, to deploy luminosity to the skin and combined with red, yellow, black and white mineral pigments, it delivers the intensity and vividness necessary to reproduce and boost skin’s inner light.
- The new blue bioptic pigment that is said to be able to reinforces the bluish radiance of skin’s inner light and restores its pristine purity and freshness.
- Apart from the skincare active ingredients I mentioned above, this foundation is also enriched with soothing Rose which will help to minimize the appearance of dyschromia (skin’s discoloration). It also contains SPF 16.
Packaging & Formula: It is housed in an elegant glass bottle with a pump. The formula is light and a bit runny. You can see tiny pearl particles in it even from the bottle.
The Verdict:
Let me count the ways of how I love this foundation.
- The coverage is just like what I’ve been searching for in an everyday foundation. Slightly higher than a tinted moisturizer but still light enough to be used on a daily basis.
- My complexion DOES seem to be lit from within. It is so noticeable that my friend said my skin looks healthy and radiant and asked what skincare I used. The redness in my skin (my main problem) is concealed nicely and I am left with a glow that can probably only be achieved naturally with super healthy diet, regular exercise and lack of stress – none of which I have the discipline to maintain.
- The texture is so light that it’s super easy and fast to use because it just melts into your skin effortlessly. I have used it both with flat foundation brush and egg-shaped blending sponge and they both produce the same, flawless result. What takes it to the next level is when you buff it with a duo-fibre brush such as the famous MAC 187 brush after the application. Don’t skip this step because then you will see the miracle of this foundation comes to life as you see your complexion starts to emanate a beautiful glow.

What can be improved? Unfortunately, there’s a downside. My skin, which is a combination of oily and dry, tends to look a bit dry on certain areas when I use this foundation, so some dry patches actually look more noticeable. However, this problem can be solved by making sure your face is properly moisturized before applying this foundation or use a good primer. I’ve been using L’oreal Base Magique underneath and the foundation looks way better on my skin.
