I was browsing through the Revlon website to search for information on the newest Revlon Top Speed Fast Dry Nail Enamel when I came across the images of Revlon’s newest campaign. One that is very colourful and interesting. It drew my attention easily because makeup should be colourful and fun, which was what I got from their recent campaign.
I think 2012 is going to be an exciting year for Revlon. I hope we all get a piece of everything here in Indonesia because it’s about time that we get every single new releases from a cosmetic company and not just a selected few. In 2012 Revlon is planning to launch a variety of new colour cosmetics lineup which includes PhotoReady Airbrush Mousse, Photoready 3D Volume Mascara, ColorStay 16 Hour Eyeshadow, ColorStay Creme Gel, ColorBurst Lip Butter and ColorStay Longwear Nail Enamel.
Emma Stone is the new face for Revlon’s ColorBurst Lip Butter that includes wide variety of colour. It looks so luscious and we think sheer lipstick is really making a strong comeback this year! We can’t wait for this new line to be available in Indonesia.
Whereas for the ColorStay 16 Hour Eyeshadow campaign features the beautiful Olivia WIlde with her “vixen, temptress look”, as stated by Julia Goldin, global chief marketing officer for Revlon Inc. The palette colour itself looks very promising in the ad, with a bold variety of colours and we hope they really do have strong staying power.
Goldin said that these new ads aim to put forward an “aspirational vision a consumer can connect to”. On one of the research Revlon done in the past year, it’s found that the biggest market in beauty that is yet to be fulfilled fully is the “colorful and complex woman,” that is explained to be wearing makeup more often, braver and more expressive on the way they put a makeup and is not affraid to be different. Yes, that includes you and me
So heads up everybody, Revlon is coming with some new varieties of colours and products.
