Oh yayy, Female Daily Network HQ is getting crowded. Right after the Ied Holiday, we got new additions to the family. One is Mbak Irma, our accountant who comes here twice a week and make sure we receive our paycheck on time (didn’t this instantly make you wondering if we never received the paycheck on time prior to her arrival? LOL).

The other one, is Ayu Putri (Putri is Indonesian for Princess, right? :p) , the one I’m going to introduce you to. This sweet girl who has a major dose of compassion built in her selfless body. Have you ever got out of Trans Jakarta before your destination because you saw an accident and want to take the victim to the hospital? Yep, she did that and much more and didn’t seem to mind getting blood stain all over her clothes.

As our Account Executive, Putri is now playing catch up with everything that happens in digital industry, learning about Female Daily Network story, giving presentations to prospective clients, and along with Vanya, thinking of different strategy to attract more brands to our portfolio. Anything to benefit the company, the community as well as the clients :).

Here’s a little Q & A with her.

So, why Female Daily Network? What did you see in us? (sounds like the job interview all over again :D)

I’ve been dreaming of working in Fashionese Daily since I was in College, back in 2008. I guess its Deja Vu now. I constantly picture myself as one of Fashionese Daily crews, it sounded lame but it’s true. I always think that Fashionese Daily (before it expanded like today) is one of very few examples of successful Indonesian women entrepreneurs. I had been following their journey since my first encounter and somehow looking back to 2008 motivates me even more to be part of the team.

Tell us 5 unique things about you.

Unique things? Hmm..I am a very curious person, a thrill seeker! I love Skydiving, I am a die hard gamer, I am addicted to tattoos and I collect skull rings!

What is your biggest passion? How about your childhood dream?

I don’t know yet but I always do everything with passion. And my childhood dream? I swear I wanna be a professional skydiver and a fashion designer when I was little.

What are your favorite books?
I am a booksnob, I read mostly anything Russia and philosophy. My all time fave would be: Tuesday With Morrie (Mitch Albom), Crime and Punishment (Dostoevsky), A Brief History of Time (Hawking), Sophie’s World, The Solitaire Mystery (Jostein Gaardner) and War and Peace (Tolstoy)

Putri and Kaia. A 3 yo whose mommy reads her Mitch Albom books for bedtime story

What have you learned so far in here? Is this what you have expected?

I’ve learned A LOT and still learning!  I started out from zero experience in digital industry, but then I learned from the very basic things like how to write appropriate introduction letter to step-by-step guide on making impressive yet creative proposal (thank you for your “long lasting” patience Mba Vanya!) to the latest news on digital media business! This is way more than I ever expected!! I learned new things everyday, I am so in love with my job and all the crews already!

And what are you looking forward to?
I am looking forward to build Female Daily hand in hand with all the crews, expand it, enlarge it, make it one successful enormous company! That would be a wonderful journey 🙂

Now explain each of us in the office in three words:

HAHAHAAHA…okay I need to take deeeeep breath on this question!

Mba Hani: Classy! Confident, a very Caring leader (Aww, aww, and aww..:D)
Mba Affi:  Warm, Persuasive, always Refreshing!!
Mba Lita:  Rock and Roll! Easy Going, Simple
Mba Manda: Calm, Detailed, Very Organized!
Mba Amal: Chic! Creative, Intelligent
Rizka: Sweet, Polite, Nice to talk to
Syita:  Cute, care so much about Outing, Smart!
Farah: Witty, Friendly, Outgoing

Last but not least, my favourite mentor,  mba Vanya:  Resourceful, very Patient (with me!), Detail oriented!

Thank you for your time Put. We’re all happy to have you on board too. Looking forward to a more exciting journey with you 🙂
