This diaper-bag-turned-school-bag is incredibly comfortable. As a graduate student (yet again!), I carry a lot of junk, I mean books, every day. The wide straps are not digging to my shoulder even if I lug around my laptop, water bottle, lunch box, and heavy books, while ‘hiking’ the hilly campus on the way to class. I’ve been no less than barbaric to this ‘Jenna’ bag by Janeville that was given as a birthday gift from a fellow FDer. I love this bag to pieces! Too bad Janeville no longer makes it.

- 15″ Macbook Pro + charger (not shown) + white sleeve
- iPhone 3Gs
- Blackberry Curve that I drop to the ground two times a day
- Folded fuschia umbrella
- A book I’m currently reading: “Black Wealth/White Wealth”

- Old Navy pencil case (it’s actually a sunglass case that I use as a ‘tempat pensil’)
- House keys + car keys
- Folder for loose sheets (beneath the agenda and the book and whatever else on top of it)
- Wide pashmina
- Water bottle
- Cig + lighter
- That pouch you get from Singapore Airlines if you hop on long-haul flights (inside: Marc by Marc Jacobs compact mirror, blotting sheet, Bath & Body Works travel body spray in ‘Sea Island Cotton’, a stapler, Neuralgin, thumb drive, and God knows what else. This thing carries a lot! Not bad for something that was free)
(I almost always bring my own lunch inside my bag, but obviously I don’t have to show you that :D)
