Hari ini bikin semur daging pake telur putih.....maklum misua lagi sok diet, mau makannya high protein. Ditambah tomat and sedikit cabe (sedikit aja....mahal soalnya), rasanya mantab :-p

Kalo ke chinese restaurant itu kan ya, gw selalu penasaran dengan tekstur daging mereka yg lentur dan lunak.. dulu gw kira itu karena jenis daging yg dipake. Tapi ternyata ada tekniknya loh.. ini udah gw coba sendiri dan sukses berattt.. sampe misua ketagihan dan tentunya kegirangan karena kita ngga perlu bayar $14 per plate buat yummy chinese food huhuhuhhh.. well rahasianya adalah....... BAKING SODA! gw beli roast meat (beef cut yg paling murrreeeehh dan super lean tanpa lemak jadi lebih sehat) trus dalam keadaan setengah beku, diiris tipis (jangan tipis2 banget), setelah itu lumurin dengan baking soda secukupnya (mungkin 1 teaspoon untuk daging semangkok medium, eyeball aja jangan kebanyakan). Let marinate for 10 mins to half an hour, tergantung banyaknya daging, jangan terlalu lama. Setelah itu dibilas pake air sampe baking soda-nya bersih. Udah. Diolah deh buat resep apapun. Dijamin pasti tekstur beef-nya identical dengan daging di chinese resto. Kalo gw waktu itu bikin stir fry, jadi beefnya gw taburin corn starch baru dimasak sesuai resep. iiihh gue sampe girang banget pas nyoba dan berhasil.. cobain yah and let me know the result.
