sasha nyari fotografernya dari sekarang aja, 9 months to go kan ya.. kalo udah dapet, menurut gw tergantung kapan lo mau album foto pre-wed & kanvas lo jadi. setau gw cetak kanvas itu 1 bulan, dan bikin album sekitar 1,5 - 2 bulan. Kalo ngedit foto sih gak lama, sekitar 2 minggu. Tinggal dihitung mundur aja deh dari hari-H lo..

Redluvr, klo gw book hotel biasa pake yg name ur own price, jadi kaya nge-bid gtu, so far sih selalu dpt OK punya drpd book biasa... Jd dia kaya misteri deal gtu, kmu cmn bisa masukin kategori yg kmu mau, misal: masukin bintang 4, dilokasi X, kmu mau bayar 80dollar/night, ntar dia kasih kmu Hotel B gtu yg harga aslinya mungkin 130dollar, tp ya ga bisa milih hotelnya tepatnya yg apa... Gw bbrp kali kaya gtu slalu puas sih... Jauh lbh murah soalnya... Biasa di priceline gtu ada (blom termasuk tax)... Hope that will help

Sera, jadinya kira2 3-4minggu si JV ngga sorting foto sama sekaliiii... Jd 500++ itu aku dapet smua (fotonya dicetak), jd 1 pose pun bisa 4lembar gtu...
trs aku kmrn pusing gtu ngeliatnya, jdnya aku pilih2 sendiri yg aku suka yg mana trus aku pisahin... Karna emang klo film kan harus dicetak untuk tau yg bagus yg mana, ama dia smuanya dikasih ke aku

nyerobot dikit yg OOT soal fotografi: film ga harus dicetak untuk tau mana yg bagus, tergantung dia fotonya pake negatif ato positive/color reversal/slide.
negatif itu hasil cucinya item putih (this is the most common), positive itu hasil cucinya berwarna jd tinggal di project/pake loop (typically this is for professional purposes, jauh lebih mahal dibanding negatif).

nsaputra memang film dicuci lalu di scan yg high resolution tp tetep aja film itu resolusi nya tinggi bgt jd dijadiin digital sih pasti ada yg ilang. habis itu udah jadi digital ya tentu bisa di manipulate digitally pake photoshop.
nah jose villa sendiri pas ditanya setau gue emang gak prefer untuk photoshop dia bilang "not important at all".

different lighting, different exposure, tentu hasilnya jg beda tone nya...karena fotografi tentu semuanya udah tau kl basisnya itu di cahaya (photo = cahaya, graphy = ngelukis. something like that).

bener kata niamw btw, tone di film photography bisa diubah pas proses nyuci/develop nya, misalnya yg ekstrim dengan cross processing/xpro.

niamw ah aku benar2 sirik ama hasil foto loe...kayak di majalah boooo!! bener2 bikin pengen foto lagi dengan gaya gitu!

Back to the topic, klo soal punya gw lbh soft I think I kinda know why, karna hari itu mataharinya emang lebih kearah chill gtu :sok teu:

Gayanya dia tu ya Cres, cmn gandengan, peluk, cium pipi, kiss... That's it... Gw berasa: errrrr... Mana baju cmn 3x gantinya.. Tp it turns out bagus.. Pdhl dia motonya kaya ngga gerak gtu d tmpt yg sama, cmn trnyata di zoom in-out and anglenya beda dikit2 jadinya beda bgt...

Btw, klo si JV itu yg di blognya di edit, harusnya di files yg dikasih ke customer kan diedit juga kan yah, klo ngga kan lgsg keliatan klo dia edit, karna soft copy yg ditrima client ama yg di blog beda...

I think klo yg di blog itu warnanya rada warm karna dia potonya pagi.. Cmn klo foto pagi time nya pendek, so for 6hrs photo session ngga bisa... Karna jam11.30-jam1 itu ngga ok klo dibuat foto *imho*
Karna matahari tepat diatas kita, so terlalu kenceng lightnya, and muka kita bisa ke shadow2...

Cress, cowo gw td blg gini: si Jose stylenya tu over exposure gtu yah.. But... Klo over exposure sih ngga mungkin setajem ini yah warnanya... Ga tau dah... LOL

jadi sedikit info buat yg mao yg mao milih2 fotografer dan kebetulan naksir fotografer yg pake film kayak jose villa, elizabeth messina, leo patrone ato jonathan canlas...(di indo jg ada kok yg motret wedding pake leica film, di depan uda pernah dibahas).

warna di film fotografi itu kan dipengaruhi beberapa hal, misalnya:
- jenis film. misal, fuji superia, fuji velvia, kodak portra, etc etc etc itu semua memberi signature warna yg berbeda.
- how we expose the film. ya iyalaah! namanya jg photo-graphy.
- how we develop the film. cairan apa, cross processing gak, do you push the film?

trus juga di scan pake scanner apa, seberapa high resolution n seberapa akurat buat 'menerjemahkan' negatif/positif secara digital...ini jg harusnya mempengaruhi warna banget.

jadi ga bisa bilang kalo 'warna di blog nya beda' maka otomatis itu karena photoshop. imho dan sejauh pengetahuan fotografi gue sih gak begitu ya.
kalo case nya niamw, gue pribadi bilang purely karena available light pas dia foto ya begitu, beda ama album laen di blog nya jose.

niamw loe foto siang2 kan? kalo shadow masalahnya mah 'gampang', tinggal atur posisi. masalahnya available light pas siang2 itu terlalu harsh gimana gitu, hasilnya juga lebih flat.

actualy karena masalah flat lighting ini yg bikin gue belom fix schedule buat bridal portrait gue di bali. kalo ngomongin sempet, pastinya sebelum ceremony/reception...tapi matahari nya tll harsh. gue mao consult dulu ke paulus jadinya. dia pasti tau apa yg mesti dilakukan dong ya, orang prewed di bali kan seharian ga pake break dulu dari jam 11 ampe jam 5?

OOT: btw i absolutely agree with your fiance, jose definitely overexpose his films. ga tau brapa stops, 1 stop doang kali kalo siang2 gitu? i can't say karena mata gue bukan mata dia yg bisa ngukur cahaya!

kebawelan dan keamatiran gue dicampur jadi satu hasilnya rada2 nightmare buat prewed photographer gue yak. sampe sekarang masi jalan terus kurasi warna.
hepi nya, karena gue foto setaon (!!) sebelum wedding gue, jadi kita lenient banget soal deadline, duh! kurasi 10 foto = 1 bulan
