Biasanya cake nya itu diratain dulu. Jd pinggir2nya yg suka geribis2 ga rata, sama atasnya yg agak membumbung itu dipotong diratain. Jd pas ditumpuk uda rapi.

awidiana, kue kalo mo ditumpuk emang biasanya ditrim atasnya biar rapi ga belendungan gitu, jadi hasil akhir juga ga tinggi sebelah.
kue-nya robek gimana say? kalo robek taruh aja diposisi tengah, ditata lagi jadi kue bulet utuh gitu, ntar kalo dah di filling & frosting kan kaga keliatan

mao bikin ombre cake buat ultah papa tar tgl 30.
loyang terbatas, cuma 1 per ukuran.. kalo buat 4 tingkatan, ntar kl ovennya satu per satu, jadinya kan bantat..

solusinya gimana biar ombre cake nya bisa jadinya ga bantat dan ukurannya sama?
trus ada lagi, itu kan pake butter cream / cheese cream buat hiasan..
tapi papa paling anti yg namanya butter cream.. kira2 bisa diakalin pake apaan ya? biar ombre cake cakepan dikit..

bluebell168, kalo ga pake emulsifier dan takut bantet, ngadonnya per loyang aja, resepnya dibagi 4. kalo pake emulsifier sih ngantri sekali aja masih tahan deh.
biar rata ukurannya, pas tuang diloyang ditimbang adonannya, semoga jadinya rata.
kalo buttercreamnya diganti ganache? bikin ganache pake white chocolate aja, kan jadinya putih, ato whipcream aja kocok sama gula alus.HTH.

awidiana, di semua resep kalo ditulisnya sdt, sdm selalu rata say, ga pernah munjung.

marieska, untung cocok ya, bikinnya gampang kan, ga pake susah deh pokoknya, cuman bener2 uji kesabaran aja itu bakingnya. apalagi kalo bikinnya pake coklat yang uenak, haduh, gw jadi ngiler

bluebell168, bahan ganache sih secara default cuman cream dan coklat aja, perbandingannya aja yang beda-beda. standarnya sih 1:1 cream & coklatnya. nah kalau mau lebih kokoh hasilnya ya tambah jumlah coklatnya, jadi 1:2 atau malah 1:3. cream yang dipake bisa fresh cream atau bisa juga whipcream. Cara bikinnya juga gampang, tinggal hangatkan cream-nya atau cairkan coklatnya, salah satu yang mana yang nyaman aja buat elo, trus campur kedua bahan, aduk rata, diamkan sampe set sambil sekali2 diaduk2 gitu. kalau mau buat di spuit bisa dikocok bentar biar ringan tekstur ganache-nya.
Cuman yang bikin agak keder ini cairin si white chocolate, tricky banget, susah ini si white choco untuk dicairin. Gutlak!
Salah satu fungsi emulsifier emang biar lebih tahan antrian, cuman yah ada aja yang enggak mau pakai, karena ini kan bahan kimia gitu, kembali ke masing-masing orang deh. Atau banyakin kuning telurnya.
