Gue ingin tanya dong apa ada yang pernah coba pergi konsultasi ke Homeopath atau Naturopath?
Ahli2 tersebut memiliki holistic approach u/ mengatasi keluhan kesehatan..

Gue sih khususnya ingin tanya apa ada yang berhasil dalam mengatasi keluhan2 kesehatan melalui para ahli Homeopath atau Naturopath itu?

Keluhan2 gue yg utama sih:
- Irritable bowel syndrome
- Excessive perspiration

Dan juga treatment yg mereka kasih itu dalam bentuk apa ya? misalnya apa resep? self therapy? dan juga continuous atau 1-2 minggu langsung teratasi...

Dun_dan, gue tinggal di melbourne, kalo liat2 di yellowpages sini banyak homeopath dan naturopath consultant disini, tapi karena jam prakteknya itu umumnya jam kerja, jadi gue belum sempat konsultasi..
Sebenernya homeopath itu apa ya? Gue sempet google health complaints gw di homeopathy site, dan muncul remedy2 yg dianjurkan, bisa ga gue beli remedy2 itu sendiri dan apply remedynya tanpa ketemu homeopathnya? atau emang ada cara2 tertentu dalam ngambil/jalanin treatment itu...

Gak ngerti, perasaan mirip2 banget..

Homeopathy:

Naturopathy:
A Naturopath has some knowledge about a lot of natural therapies. Many of the therapies that a naturopath has a general understanding of (e.g. Western Herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nutrition, Acupuncture and Homeopathy) can also be studied exclusively as specialties for up to 4 years each. To become a specialist in each of the therapies listed above would require 15-20 years of training and an equal number of years in practical experience. Naturopaths generally focus on Western herbalism or botanical medicine.

Naturopathic medicine depends on the therapy the naturopath chooses – most often
this includes herbal medicine, botanical medicine and supplements (vitamins, minerals, enzymes …)

Herbal medicines, vitamins, minerals and enzymes are not always safe for children or during pregnancy. Dosages and quantities need to be closely monitored by a professional.

Western herbalism is similar to Western medicine – you get one or more medicines for each problem you have. Western herbalism substitutes medicines listed above for pharmaceutical drugs. For instance, if you have liver problems you may be given Milk Thistle, if you have joint pain you might get Glucosamine Sulfate, if you have headaches you may get White Willow Bark. With this approach costs escalate with the number of health problems that need to be treated. Each bottle costs an average of $20 per month.

gue tadi baru buat appointment to see a homeopath, semakin gw cari2 info ttg homeopath ini semakin gue bingung, jadi besok setelah konsultasi mestinya bisa lebih ngerti lagi..

but the info above helped me narrow down my search to homeopaths not naturopaths..

gw kebeneran dulu pernah iseng ambil kuliah pilihan drug discovery di jurusan farmasi *gelo emang*. yang ngajar orang farmasi jadi doi agak2 skeptis sama homeopathy. menurut si dosen homeopathy itu pada dasarnya sama aja dengan obat2an biasa karena obat2an di apotik kan ada juga tuh yang asalnya dari tumbuhan dan bahan2 alami lain seperti jamur penisilin. cuma....... di homeopathy bahan2nya diencerin sampe beribu kali.

so misalnya di obat apotik kita dapet sirup dengan konsentrasi bahan aktif 100 mg/L nah di homeopathy konsentrasinya jadi 0,00001 mg/L. so efeknya nyaris ga ada kecuali kita minum obatnya segentong. makanya bisa buat segala penyakit krn efeknya more ke efek placebo.

halo, dulu waktu aku tinggal di KL aku bbrp kali ke homeopathy, ibu kost ku yg bawa aku kesana, padahal suami dan anak2 ibu kost ku itu dokter, dia bilang lbh aman ke homeopathy. trs obatnya sama semua gitu bentuk dan jenisnya. tp beda2 mgkn ya khasiatnya hehe, soalnya obat nya tmn ku sm aku beda penyakit, sama bentuknya. untung aja ditulis kan nama kita di botol nya masing2.

trs inget gak sih dulu sempet heboh yg flu babi itu? nah lagi jaman2 nya itu, panasku 39 derajaat, dan gejala hampir mirip2 gitu sm flu babi, aku udh takut banget, trs ibu kost ku bawa aku ke homeopathy itu, dan disana panasku emg 39an gitu, aku super panik, dan homeopathy blg : kalo aku ke hospital, pasti di quarantine deh hahaha alhamdulillah sembuh bbrp hari kemudian, cm di kasih bbrp jenis obat yg sama semua bentuk dan jenisnya :')
