aibi, kalo menurutku itu tergantung ke goal dan fitness level masing2. Kalo pemula dan tujuan utamanya weight loss, I'd recommend combining vigorous cardio routine with circuit training (Turbo Jam + Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred). Kalo yg udah lebih advanced, konsentrasinya lebih ke nambah muscle mass/jadi lebih lean, strength training macem P90X dan CLX itu yg bakal bantu bgt. But either way, you NEED TO do some sort of strength training, gunanya untuk menjaga muscle mass kamu selama program weight loss. Kalo nggak bisa yg berat macam P90X, option paling bagus menurutku Pilates. Idealnya sih emang dicobain semua yah biar tau yg mana yg paling kamu enjoy ngelakuinnya

eke setuju sama Junebug24 kalo combo Turbo Jam & 30-Day Shred menurut gue sih ok bgt untuk beginner. Stamina cardio nya dapet dari Turbo Jam, dan strength nya dapet dari 30-Day Shred. Pada dasarnya, Jillian Michaels itu ok untuk mulai working out krn kebanyakan DVD dia circuit style, cardio + strength.

Btw, gue biasanya menyarankan orang untuk ga lama2 pake Walk Away The Pounds nya Leslie Sansone. Bukannya apa-apa, walaupun keringetan, WATP itu intensity nya lumayan rendah. Kalo udah kuat, lebih baik segera 'naik kelas' ke something yg more intense. To build stamina, you need to be challenged. Kl udah terlalu gampang, lebih baik move on. But then again, everyone's fitness goals are different. If the goal right now is just to get moving, then WATP is good enough. Yg penting kan mulai dulu dan jadiin habit.

klo q pernah nyobain tamelee web sm suzanne cox`s, dulu beli di gramed tp sekarang udah ga dijual lagi

aibi, treadmill kan cardio doang ya. Saranku sih ditambah dengan strength training. Mulai coba2 workout yg pake dumbbell deh, jadi ntar pas mulai JM 30 Day Shred udah nggak kagok lagi dgn beberapa gerakannya yg pake dumbbell.

. Ntah trauma (lebay kekna ya) atau apa.. Tapi badan beneran sakit2 smua. Ampe2 mau pipiss jongkok aja ga kuat. Hahahaa. Akhrna d stop dlu deh sampe berasa pahanya mendingan. Kekna mau coba cari video yang turbo jam aja deh, biar melatih cardionya dlu. Td pas di TA ada elevator yg mati. Gile, naek 1 lantai aja ngos2an, jantung langsung deg2an. >_<

Mak kyknya daku bakalan sakit2an deh kyk dirimu kl nyoba jillian michaels,even it says for beginner...kutunggu deh laporan dr dirimu kira2 video apa yg cocok...

Ini ditambah lg pacar yg langsung ngetawain pas kuceritain pengen exercise pake video,dibilangin gak mgkn jalan deh buat pemalas mcm aku ini *lah curhat*

Santi, sorry to hear about your experience! Maybe Jillian Michaels 30DS is not for you yah. Tapi sama kok, aku awalnya juga gitu. Waktu itu aku malah parah, sampe mau nulis aja sakit karena pangkal lenganku sakit bgt (gara2 kupaksain push-up). Sebenernya itu mungkin salah satu tanda kalo badan kita lagi menyesuaikan diri. Setelah kamu istirahat, tubuhmu bakal jadi lebih kuat dari sebelumnya, besok2 kalo coba 30DS lagi jadi lebih mudah. Dulu aku sempat ngikutin obrolan di forum luar yg isinya komentar2 ttg 30DS, banyak lho yg setelah bisa nyelesain 30DS itu jadi berpikir kalo level 1 itu gampang bgt.. padahal dulu waktu pertama ngelakuin ya sama, berasa berdarah-darah

Gmn kalo dijadiin motivasi aja komentar dari pacarnya, jangan justru jadi nyerah duluan. Buktiin ke dia kalo kamu bisa. Waktu awal aku mulai 30DS juga sempat diremehin sama pacarku karena aku belum bisa pushup. Gara2 itu aku jadi semangat pengen ngebuktiin ke dia kalo aku bisa. And now I can do it. Mental kita yg paling ngaruh sebenarnya, fisik mah bakal beradaptasi aja. Makin kita olahraga, makin kuat tubuh kita.

Justru normal kalo badan sakit2 setelah sekian lama ga berolahraga! Yg ga normal justru kalo ga biasa olahraga, terus ngelakuin aerobik, besoknya ga kenapa2. Kalo sakit artinya badannya baru aja dikasih shock therapy, but in a good way! So don't worry, and don't give up. Take a rest for 1-2 days. Setelah hari ketiga mestinya udah mendingan (unless lo marathon atau 100 km trail ya, mungkin recovernya up to a week). Pokoknya badan jgn terlalu dimanja, it is tougher than you give it credits for!

Yg udah lama exercising aja masih nyari "sakit" nya itu lho. Kalo abis ngelakuin sesuatu yg baru terus besoknya ga berasa apa2, berarti ga intense.

Also, don't discount too much of yourself! Jgn belum dicoba terus bilang ah ini terlalu berat. Kl emang waktu dicobain terus berasa terlalu berat, ya gapapa berhenti, jgn dipaksain juga tar malah injured. But believe a bit more to yourself.

Hi, gw seminggu ini udah nyoba :
- Jillian Michaels Kick Boxing...ga terlalu susah, meski cuma sekitar 25-30 menitan tapi berasa banget cape dan keringetnya ngucur deras
- 30 days Shred Jillian Michaels.....baru coba level 1 doang, lumayan enjoy sama work outnya, gerakannya ga terlalu susah, (gw pake dumbel yg 1 kgan). Yang ini favorit gw banget

- Killer Buns Jillian Michaels......huhuhu yang ini agak susah gerakannya euy, apalagi yang gaya push up tapi suruh angkat-angkat kaki sebelah (gaya guguk jantan pipis wkwkwkw) sumpah susah banget, ada beberapa gerakan yg gw ga sanggup, tapi bener-bener berasa banget ke bokong dan paha.Ada 3-4 level, gw nyoba level 1 aja udah ga sanggup...tapi ke depannya semoga bisa deh.

rosagio: setau aku kalau download di you tube, memang baru ada level 1 doang. Atau mendingan beli online aja, ada yg jual murmer koq. Karena ga boleh kasih link, coba googling aja kata kuncinya jual vcd senam aerobik. Semoga membantu yah
