4-Step Skincare by Hada Labo

seo-img-article

We’re big fans of Hada Labo here at FDHQ. Their gentle formulations are free from unnecessary ingredients, like fragrances, dyes, mineral oils, and ethanol; they are also bang for your buck when you consider how rich their products are in hyaluronic acid, which has been shown to “… boost skin’s moisture content, reduce inflammation, have cell-communicating abilitites [sic], and help prevent moisture loss.” In a way, Hada Labo continues to be enduring port in a storm of skincare disasters.

Thank you, Japan.

Thank you, Japan.

That’s why I returned to the Hada Labo Shiro-jyun series at around this time last year, when my skin reacted badly to a new serum I was trying out. The serum left my oily-prone skin dry and dull, and I needed a skincare regimen that would return some much-needed hydration and brightness, stat. A lot of photo-taking happens at Christmas and New Year’s parties, and I was not ready to be documented with less than great skin.

But thankfully, within just three days of using products from the Shiro-jyun line, my skin recovered from its previously dry and dull state. And for a Japanese skin care line, the number of steps in this particular regimen (just 4!) is considerably low. What are the key products in the regimen that help give skin suppleness and hydration? Check out the video below to see which Hada Labo line suits you best, and maybe it might just end up being the port in your skincare storm too 😉
