Video Phone ft. Lady Gaga (2009)
Despite being shot in 2009, there’s a weird late ’90s – early ’00s feel about this video, in that it has a nonlinear storyline, features the talents singing in front of different backdrops, and some dodgy representation of recording technology (see: Ricky Martin’s Shake Your Bon-Bon and Jennifer Lopez’s If You Had My Love). But other than that, I’m a big fan of the metallic ombre lip and nude lip looks we see here.
