It is with great envy that I read review after review of the new They’re Real! Push-Up Liner from Benefit. This product won’t be available in the US until the end of the June, which probably means that we will have to wait much longer until it arrives here in Indonesia.
The shape of the applicator on this gel liner is unique: it looks like the end of those chubby highlighters that we used to passively mark “important” passages in our school textbooks with. The AccuFlex tip is designed to dispense product onto a soft, broad tip that “…hugs your lashline from corner to corner.”
I have really high hopes for both the applicator and formula of this product, especially since pre-release reviews have been overwhelmingly positive: there’s a lot of love for the foolproof applicator and formula, which promises to be matte, long-wearing, and waterproof. Based on images from these on US-based pre-release reviews, it looks like the Push-Up Liner works great if you’re trying to achieve a Ronettes-style cat eye:
Veterans of the Benefit They’re Real! Mascara can speak volumes about the mascara’s ability to thicken and add volume to lashes (I’m a big fan of that product too). I’m really looking forward to try this one on to see if the hype is real — so I’m crossing all fingers in the hopes of Benefit Indonesia bringing it in, stat!
