In my high school days, I made the mistake of overplucking my eyebrows to fit in with the look of the early 2000s. Razor-thin brows were in vogue thanks to Jennifer Lopez and I bought into the trend lock, stock, and barrel. But now my past has come back to haunt me, because now my eyebrows grow out in all sorts of weird patches.
The tenth grade was a difficult time in my life: I struggled with math and big hair.
Style is cyclical, and it seems everyone is bored by the thin, carefully-curated brows. We’ve apparently taken a look back to the ’80s, because the most coveted look by the it girls of today involves thick, unfettered eyebrows.
