Splurge & Steal: Liquid Eyeliners

Formula: the formula on the Wet n Wild was much more runny than the Estee Lauder and takes a longer time to dry. Blink within thirty seconds of applying it, and all you’ll be left with is a runny, inky mess on your eyelids.

Applicator: the felt applicator at the end of the Estee Lauder wand was sturdy but also soft to the touch, letting the liquid formula glide onto the eyelid with ease. Meanwhile, the Wet n Wild applicator seemed to be made out of low-quality plastic that felt as it it were scratching the skin on my eyelids every time it made contact.

Packaging: the Estee Lauder packaging is slimmer and more elegant-looking in general. The handle is also more ergonomically friendly, making the wand easier to control when drawing in lines and filling them in.
