I’m not overly fussy when it comes to makeup, especially eye makeup: my daily routine consists of black pencil eyeliner on the waterline, followed by an application of black liquid eyeliner to the lid. Depending on my mood/eyeliner/hand-eye coordination that day, I usually end up with some sort of ersatz wingtip or cat eye look.
So after years of experimentation — resulting in both beautiful cat eyes or tragic smudged tragedies — I’ve put together a list of my favorite black liquid liners to date. Did yours make the list? 🙂
5. Bourjois Liner Clubbing in Absolute Black
I picked this up because the Volume Clubbing Mascara happens to be one of my favorite mascaras around. The eyeliner from the same range did not disappoint, with an intense formula that glides on smooth and opaque. Part of its cheeky claims include to have been “Tested and approved by clubbers, Liner Clubbing lasts up to 8 hours without running or smudging in the hottest, sweatiest, and steamiest conditions.” Well I guess if it’s good enough for sweaty dance floor action, then it’s good enough for my tame desk-monkeying.
