The Kids Inside Us by Afgan and Carnival Clothing
This is the first time that Carnival Clothing stepped into the Fashion Tent at Jakarta Fashion Week. The brand itself was created by Afgan and a friend, providing casual street style for men and women. For its debut show, Carnival Clothing took its inspiration from 80s and 90s: casual jackets, knit-wear, printed shirts, slim chinos, and pocket tees dominated the runway, and I kinda love this collection. Not just because the items look so wearable, but I also love how simple they are and how the jacket is not cut into a fit that is overly tight. I can imagine having so much fun mixing their pieces with other pieces from my wardrobe.
