    <div class="container">I already shared with you the <a href="http://www.fashionesedaily.com/blog/2013/07/17/recent-purchase-a-luxola-haul/">Edward Bess haul</a> I did a while back. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to reviewing any of the products in that haul (shame on me). Before I could start reviewing that haul, my greedy little hands did purchase another blush from Edward Bess, and I think this one deserves to be in the spotlight first. I've written plenty about pink blushes lately, so I figure we ought to see some variety :D<br><br><strong>Edward Bess Blush Extraordinaire Secret Affair</strong><br><br><a rel="attachment wp-att-66308" href="http://www.fashionesedaily.com/blog/2013/10/09/its-a-secret-affair-with-edward-bess-blush-extraordinaire/dsc_1014-3/"><img class="aligncenter img-responsive wp-image-66308" title="EB Secret Affair" src="//www.fashionesedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/DSC_1014-3.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="402" /></a><a rel="attachment wp-att-66309" href="http://www.fashionesedaily.com/blog/2013/10/09/its-a-secret-affair-with-edward-bess-blush-extraordinaire/dsc_1016-3/"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-66309" title="EB Secret Affair" src="//www.fashionesedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/DSC_1016-3.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="402" /><br></a>The compact is straightforward and minimalist. The blusher pan is encased in a black plastic container with nothing but the white EB lettering on the surface. Inside, you'll find the powder blush and the brush applicator; both also have the characteristic EB on them. And it comes fully equipped with a mirror, so you're set to bring this everywhere.<br><br>I actually like the compact very much: it's lightweight and the clasp feels secure, and the size fits just right on my palm. The material and the construction feels durable. As much as I love my <a href="http://www.fashionesedaily.com/blog/tag/burberry-light-glow/">Burberry blushers</a>, I never carry them anywhere. I'm scared I might nick them. Of course I can carry them inside the velvet pouch (and the box too if necessary), but that's not what you'd necessarily call convenient, don't you think?<br><br><a rel="attachment wp-att-66310" href="http://www.fashionesedaily.com/blog/2013/10/09/its-a-secret-affair-with-edward-bess-blush-extraordinaire/dsc_1017-3/"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-66310" title="EB Secret Affair" src="//www.fashionesedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/DSC_1017-3.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="402" /><br></a>Edward Bess' first blush line, <strong>Blush Imperiale</strong>, garnered many followers for their neutral selection. They are still available at <a href="http://www.luxola.com/id/products/edward-bess-blush-imperiale">Luxola</a> but not anymore on Edward Bess' <a href="http://edwardbess.com/index.php?route=product/category&amp;path=61_64">website</a>. That hints at the possibility of them being discontinued soon, so grab them while you can!<br><br>But we're here to talk about <strong>Blush Extraordinaire</strong>, his new blush line that came out this past Spring 2013. The collection has three shades as of now, and a more colorful, brighter selection too. The particular shade I'm featuring right now is named <strong>Secret Affair</strong>. It is described as a 'soft peach', although I'd say that's not entirely accurate.<br><br><a rel="attachment wp-att-66322" href="http://www.fashionesedaily.com/blog/2013/10/09/its-a-secret-affair-with-edward-bess-blush-extraordinaire/dsc_1340-3/"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-66322" title="EB Secret Affair" src="//www.fashionesedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/DSC_1340-3.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="402" /><br></a>In my eyes, this is a warm peach coral with a hint of pink and gold shimmer. I know it might sound confusing, but it makes sense. The color changes slightly under different lights. But on the cheeks? Absolute perfection any way. And that shimmer leaves the cheeks with a soft satin finish.<br><br>I think it's very clever to add a pink pigment in the mix. It prevents the shade from looking too orange, or simply peach. You know how it is, when a coral blush looks either too red, or too pink, or too peach for your liking. This is just <em>on point</em> for me.<br><br>The smooth, finely milled texture is a joy to work with. I find it works with any blush brush I decide to use that day. The color shows up really well, and still buildable. It applies beautifully and blends to that gorgeous sheer veil of naturally flushed cheek.<br><br>The captivating shade and its wearability has made Secret Affair into one of my most often-used blushes these days :D<br><br><strong>Edward Bess Blush Extraordinaire</strong> can be purchased through <a href="http://www.luxola.com/id/brands/edward-bess">Luxola</a>.<br><br>&nbsp;    </div>
