I’m trying to grow out my hair. I don’t remember the last time I had long hair, since I’ve always kept it short. What started as sort of an experiment (“Let’s see how long I can stand it before having the urge to chop it off again.”), has now been adopted as my new, semi-permanent look.
I always thought women were divided into two types: the short-haired ones and the long-haired ones, with me, of course, belonging to the first group. Long-haired gals might venture into short hair when they feel like they need a break from their routine or to get out of a particular rut (usually after a breakup, ha!) but eventually, they will go back to growing their hair long again and keep that as their style most of their lives. The same goes for short-haired girls, which happened to me. And it’s almost like a personality trait.
