We don’t think we need to explain further what Fashionese Daily is all about, right? It’s been a daily destination for Indonesian fashion and beauty addicts since years ago. Now, we’re looking for an excellent candidate to join our team as Managing Editor.
Of course, we’re looking for someone who is passionate and knowledgeable in fashion and beauty, know the industry very well and know how to translate the passion and knowledge into interesting writing. As a managing editor, you’ll be the face of Fashionese Daily, you’ll attend fabulous events, meet with people in the industry and speak in front of large audience. Female Daily HQ is a fun place to work at but that doesn’t mean the work is minimal, in fact, there’s a lot of work that’s why we’re looking for someone who loves challenge and push herself further that she has ever been.
Your main responsibilities:
- Overseeing overall editorial process
- Helping management to set direction for the website
- Writing and editing articles, news and features, including conducting interviews
- Working together with Creative Department in producing video
- Ensuring contents are in line with the company’s mission & readership profile
- Attending events
- Managing other editors, contributors and writers
- Generating ideas for editorial angle, editorial programs for potential advertisers, and marketing campaigns
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor Degree
- Have a good analytical skill
- Able to work well independently and in a team
- Have a good presentation skills
- Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia both in writing and spoken
- Attention to detail
- Are enthusiastic and a self starter with positive and can-do attitude
- Willing to work during weekend and night occasionally
This is a full time job and located in Kemang – Jakarta Selatan.
You will receive: fixed salary, THR, Jamsostek, medical & transport reimbursement, phone allowance, and laptop.
