The Radiance Postcard: Biyan's Love Letter to His 30 Years in Fashion

I think the tail end of the show was my favorite: I loved the combination of elaborate floral lace and jewel blue tones, which reminded me of antiquated china plates.  The embellishments also returned in full force, but he did such a wonderful job of making a dress sparkly and girly without making it delicate or frail. Biyan is basically a master at channeling the dreamy feel of a fairy tale where the princess is also the swashbuckling knight in shining armor!

While this collection didn’t bring anything new to the table, The Radiance Postcard catwalk show was, at the very least, a lavish testament to Biyan’s talents. Even after thirty years of creating, he has not lost the touch that made his work so desirable by women.  His presence in the Indonesian fashion scene has given us something to be really proud of, so here’s to thirty more years of celebrating women and fashion as tough as tempered glass!
