Speaking of makeup, eyeshadows are one of my top three favorites. But I’ve been forcing myself to stop buying eyeshadows since January this year. I have the urge to buy eyeshadow because it’s so hard for me to resist the colors, even though I usually use browns on daily basis, still, I feel like I need more colors. Ooh, that blue looks gorgeous! Whoa, I think this emerald green will look good on me. Etc. You can probably imagine the rest of my excuses. 😀 I do realize one eyeshadow palette lasts for years, so I change my attention to another product that will run out quickly if we compare it to eyeshadows. In this case, it is face base: foundation, BB Cream, Tinted Moisturizer, and the newest one: CC Cream.
I use face base almost everyday. So I can guarantee I will use it religiously til its last “drop”. I have acne scars here and there. I also have pimples, again, here and there. My face looks lighter than my neck, therefore I love a full-coverage base. What’s the point of using face base when it can’t make my skin look (at least nearly) flawless? Sure if you already have great looking skin, tinted moisturizer or the light coverage base is more than enough. 🙂
I have a few face base products that I want to try. Not every single product that I want is available in Indonesia, though, yet I got a chance to get a hold of two of them. One of them is Kate BB, thanks to lautbiru who wrote this article, it was successfully made me, Nopai, and Affi bought the same BB Cream! Love it! And the second target was Laura Mercier Silk Crème Foundation.
