Mascara is probably the beauty product that has the shortest life. The ideal life for mascara is 3 months, although if I feel the product is still good, I will prolong its life to 5 months maximum, depending on how dry it is. Actually we can feel, see, and decide immediately whether the mascara we own is still worth to keep on our makeup desk or not. This actually is the right time for me to get a new mascara. The one that I chose is the one and only Benefit They’re Real Mascara.
I heard tons of great things about this mascara and I set my hope high when I tried it for the first time. When I saw the bristles, I knew this is going to be one of my favorites right away. I don’t like clumpy lashes, and this kind of bristle separates the lashes easily!
Sometimes, when mascaras claim to give you volume, they actually do, but somehow the formulation tends to make lashes super clumpy and for me I don’t even feel comfortable having those kind of lashes. Benefit They’re Real Mascara claims to lengthen, curl, volumize, lift and separate the lashes. Sounds too good to be true? I know, but it lives up to its claims! I just wiggle the wand on my lashes from the base to the tip and I get a completely different lashes which I love. I do find it smudges a little bit if I’m not patient enough to let the formula dries. Once it sets, everything’s great!
