I always love how confident Agnes Monica is. Not to mention, she is very dedicated to her work and has a strong will to fulfill her dream. So it’s no surprise to know that Agnes Monica performed her new track “Show A Little Love” for Pre-Grammy Party at the Conga Room in downtown Los Angeles weeks ago.
I will start with praises, so you all won’t shoot me. I love her hair. It had volume, looked bouncy and healthy. I also love her makeup – nothing too intense, and it matched her tan.
As for her outfit, let’s see … she was wearing a printed bra with batik vest and short torn ripped jeans, and calf-length boots. Batik is, of course, a nice way to show her identity – as Indonesian – that she’s loud and proud. But combined with printed bra? Enough said, people. No matter how you love this girl, it’s definitely a fashion crime. And the jeans .. *facepalm*

She could have done better. I believe Batik could be styled in an edgier way. I couldn’t help myself but to look at my Batik folder in my laptop to see whether there’s any better option that I would love to recommend Agnes to wear, one that is still chic and trendy. My choice would be these two photos that our photographer took from Alleira Batik Show on JFW2013 last year. These two can be combined with jeans, but we prefer a dark one.
