I’m not quite done yet with my KL series and I already flew there again last week :o). This time, I was invited by The Valiram Group, who manages Michael Kors in Indonesia. Its headquarter is in KL so that was the reason why Valiram Group flew fashion editors from Indonesia, Australia and Singapore all the way there to see the collection firsthand. I had an amazing 3 days in KL. The people in Valiram Group do know how to give the best treatment. It started with the business class, the beautiful gift, the five course meal (and they are some of the best meals I have ever eaten. I’ve gained a kilogram when I went back but it was totally worth it!), the venue, the spa, the sightseeing, the trip around town and the people themselves are a delight to be around. I enjoyed the conversation with the key people of the Valiram Group, learning about the company and the brands that they carry. I feel so grateful to be part of the whole experience.
I will write more about the collection in the next post. Now, let me start with the easy one first; the outfit picture. The thing that made this KL trip even more special is because I got to meet Dinar (DSAMO)! If you didn’t know her, she is the reason why my writing here seems flawless, because everything goes through her and edited by her :). I’ve known her since my St. Louis days as she’s like a second family to me. Dinar and her family are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Now, she lives in KL because her husband is Malaysian. I’m glad I could tag her along to the press preview and store visit because she’s been witnessing Fashionese Daily since its inception in 2005. She even wrote a few articles back in the early days.
