I know the most efficient cleanser out there is cleansing oil. It’s able to remove eye and face makeup in one go. But surprise, surprise, I’m not a big fan of cleansing oil. So what do I use? I love cleansing cream and balm. Yep, you heard it right. Balm. Like the one that I’ve reviewed previously years ago from Clinique.
I like my cleanser to leave a hydrating and supple feeling, without being oily. For me, using cleansing oil feels too oily for my dry face to bear. Balm, on the other hand, although turns to oil doesn’t feel too oily.
So here’s the thing, after years of thinking that there’s no one else doing the cleansing balm better than Clinique, I’ve just found a new favourite : Bobbi Brown Extra Balm Rinse. Oh, I am so deeply in love with this balm! What made me fell in love with it the first time I tried it is not the formulation or its cleansing power, but rather the ethereal very fresh citrus scent. I swear I think they squeeze a basket full of citrus and pour the juice into the balm pod. For this alone I will keep using this product 🙂 Shallow, I know.
