Elegance is the epitome of Chanel, and I always reach out to this fragrance whenever I feel like putting on a piece of elegance – may it be vintage-inspired earrings, a pair of pretty heels or a simple black dress. This Friday, I feel like having a boost of some elegance to my day, celebrating the long weekend 😀
And so I pick Chanel Chance. Valued sentimentally because it was a thoughtful gift from my Father (I’d like to think whenever he sees Chanel, he remembers his daughter :D). I love the all-around feminine feel. The bottle’s shape is very simple, no fuss no frill. I really like the slim figure of Chance bottle. It makes it easy to carry in my evening bag, just in case I need an additional spritz or two.
Notes of patchouli, musk, vanilla, jasmine and a bit of amber decorate this fragrance. I can’t really describe it, but it reminds me of my Mother in front of her mirror, putting on her necklace, getting ready for a night out. Not to say that it smells ‘old’, but something about it whispers a classic vibe.
