I’m glued to my laptop today, reading all my emails, browsing through the internet and reading a lot of stuff beside the news on Jakarta Fashion Week 2013. JFW has its own special spot, but beauty products also deserve the same 🙂 I can tell new products always draw attention to all of us. Some of them worth our money, some of them… well, not really. That being said, these are my picks for the new products in town. Each of them has its own attraction to me, and maybe for you, too 🙂
1. Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation (IDR 550,000)
First thing that comes in my mind when I hear about Bobbi Brown is their bestseller concealer kit, because nowadays a lot of people are raving about it. Now, step aside just for a moment dear concealer kit, your new sister is coming to town – Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation. It claims to give us a natural look that is long lasting. Comfortable and hydrating, it is great for medium to full coverage. What I love is, it has oil-free formula and hopefully NEVER looks cakey on skin.
The key ingredients are glycerin and shea butter which keep skin feeling moisturized, while a gel base creates a lightweight finish that stays color-true. This foundation is supposed to last for up to 12 hours, even in the most humid conditions. Perfect for us living in Indonesia. It also has SPF 15 which we need to protect our skin from UV rays.
