Fashionistas rejoice! H&M has arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Located in Lot 10, Bukit Bintang, H&M is a three-storey (THREE!), 3,600 square feet store. It is a humongous and gorgeous store!

I was very fortunate to be able to visit the H&M last weekend, among thousands of other excited crowd. The line (or as Malaysians say “queue”) outside the store was very long as the security personnel explained that the store was just way too crowded. The mood of the crowd that day was positively happy under an unforgivingly hot Malaysian weather. I was personally just too excited to shop to care (what sunburn?).

As soon as I went inside, oh my, it was beautiful. The high ceiling, the floor display and the many colourful clothes as far as the eye could see. H&M collaborated with Anna Dello Russo for their accessory for Fall/Winter 2012 collection (side note: Anna Dello Russo is Vogue Japan fashion editor, known for her fun and glamorous style).  Anna Dello Russo accessory collection for H&M include chunky necklaces, animal inspired bracelets, glitzy drop earrings, gold clutch,  gold shoes are priced at RM79.90 to RM 1,299.

As I made my way to the first and second floor, I was greeted by racks upon racks of  boxy coats, chunky knit sweaters, blazers of  every color, metallic-thread separates, printed pants and leggings, bejewelled and leather skirts, dresses, and chunky accessories for ladies who adore statement pieces-all at affordable prices of RM39-RM250.  Don’t forget, ladies, while at H&M, to pick up your basic necessities. I personally love to stock up on H&M tees and tanks (they are so soft and last a long time) priced at RM19 to RM39 and leggings priced at RM30.
