Although I have dry skin, I’ve never tried any Body Butters out there. In my mind, they will be very very thick and hard to absorb. Can you imagine getting sweaty because of Jakarta’s hot weather PLUS that annoying sticky sense covering your skin? Uh-oh. But when I visited The Body Shop store last week, and saw 25% off of their Body Butter Duo, I couldn’t help myself to buy one. 🙂
I picked Body Butter Duo Vanilla and have no regret! I could go everywhere without using perfumes because of this product. It has a strong scent. First time using it, I have to admit my nose had to adapt with the scent. But as time goes by, my love for this product is getting bigger and bigger. The scent itself is lovely and surprise surprise my family love it too. 🙂
I love the idea of two formulations in one product. Indeed, our body parts have different needs, some parts are dryer than the other, and this Body Butter Duo is the solution. The extra richness actually makes it more moisturizing and we just need to apply enough amount for the dryer skin.
Key Ingredients :
- Babassu Oil – Organic Babassu oil – nature’s best – is a wonderfully light and non-greasy skin moisturizer. Babassu Oil is used for its soothing, protective and emollient properties.
- Organic Beeswax – Moisturizes and helps to condition dry skin, especially on your lips and around the fingernail beds. Acts as a barrier that helps to seal in moisture.
- Brazil Nut Oil – Moisturizes and helps to leave skin feeling soft. Brazil Nut Oil is used for its highly moisturizing, natural emollient, light texture, quick absorption, sweet aroma, and powerful antioxidant properties.
- Cocoa Butter – Excellent moisturizer that melts at body temperature, leaving the skin feeling soft and silky smooth. It is one of the most stable, highly concentrated natural fats known, and melts at body temperature so that it is readily absorbed into the skin.
- Shea Butter – Moisturizes and helps soften the skin. It has healing qualities, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
- Organic Soya Oil – Has moisturizing and healing properties that make it ideal for intensive skin care treatments.
This product has been doing a very good job, it absorbs pretty well, and the scent makes me such an addict 🙂 But if you don’t like sweet vanilla scent, this particular product may not be the one for you. You can get this at The Body Shop stores in Indonesia, or you can buy it online in their website. It retails for IDR 189,000 but the 25% off is still on.
