Indonesia Islamic Fashion Fair 2012 (IIFF) officially opened on Thursday, 9th of August 2012 with the launching of ‘Heavenly Beauty’, a fashion style book featuring 8 muslim designers from APPMI (Association of Indonesian Fashion Designers and Entrepreneurs). The association is considered pioneer and activator of muslim fashion trend in Indonesia. The designers are Hannie Hananto, Nuniek Mawardi, Monika Jufry, Fenny Mustafa, Tuty Adib, Dian Pelangi, Jenny Tjahyawati, and Irna Mutiara.

Each designer contributes some of their particular collections in every occasion. With its exclusive packaging, they hope that muslim fashion will get the high acknowledgement from our own market, as well as the global appreciation. Hopefully this book will highlight the advancement of Indonesian muslim fashion trend today, and also an inspiration for all muslimah.

In the fashion parade, 6 designers featured their selected collections. Coinciding with Ramadhan and Iedul Fitri moment, most of the collections are suitable for these occasions. Most importantly, this showcase is about to be the benchmark of Indonesian muslim fashion development.
