Five Facial Cleansers Review

seo-img-article

There’s a plethora of facial cleansing products out there. This time I’d like to review the practical, fuss-free, always-reliable foaming cleanser. Many are cult products, some give outstanding result, yet lesser known by the general public. Following are several of both categories that I’ve personally tried.

1. Avene Cleanance Soapless Gel Cleanser

One of the cult products, this gentle-yet-effective cleanser is intended for oily, blemish-prone skin. Yet with pH 7.2, it’s gentle enough to be used by most skin type (pH 7 is considered a neutral). Cleanses deeply without stripping skin’s moisture, therefore avoiding to aggravate sebum production. Hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.

This cleanser is very comfortable to use; cleanses thoroughly but never leaves skin feeling taut. Also has clever packaging—just turn the cap to the left and right for opening and closing – minimum risk of accidentally pouring too much product or spilling when knocked over. The small hole opening is also economical because you only need a small amount for the whole face (small coin-size is enough).

This feels very similar (even have almost the same fragrance) to Jurlique’s Balancing Foaming Cleanser. But the latter has a pump dispenser that starts leaking after only several uses, albeit priced almost twice as expensive. You see how the one with Avene won my heart fair and square, don’t you?
