Pictured here is an unnamed 69-year-old man, who drove a truck for 28 years. And for that 28 years, his left side of his face got more exposure to sunlight—through the window of his truck—than the right side.
Notice how the left side of his face looks more ruined and way older than the other.
Dermatologists at Northwestern University ended up studying his case and publishing their findings in the New England Journal of Medicine. One of their conclusions: “The biggest take-home message from all of this is that you can get UV radiation through window glass even if you are just running an errand.”
