The latest masterpiece from Clarins lip color lineup, the Rouge Prodige claims to be “the latest innovation with maximum colour depth, radiance and intensity for lips that look sensational”.
Well, the jury’s still out on that one.
After all the love and rave of the Joli Rouge and Joli Rouge Brillant lipsticks, one would think the newest addition would be an improved version of its predecessor, no?
First, let me tell you how obsessed I am with lipsticks. Especially the pinks and corals. Every little variation of these hues is exciting to me, as I’m always on the lookout for a unique shade to add to my ever-growing collection.
And then I saw the perfect pink (if there is ever one). The prettiest shade of pink : it’s bright, slightly bluish, a tad cool, a lot sexy. It’s Clarins Rouge Prodige Lipstick in Miami Pink (103).
Strangely enough, bright and bold as it is in the tube, as soon as it goes on my lips it becomes my sexiest MLBB : you can certainly see the pop of color, yet it so smoothly compliments my natural lip color and skintone. Naturally pretty.
