For the 6th time, Senayan City is going to hold the annual Fashion Nation from April 11 to 22, 2012. This year’s Fashion Nation is themed Noir et Blanc: The Ultimate Style. In French, the theme means “black and white”, considered as timeless fashion.
Fashion Nation is regularly held as a form of appreciation to Indonesian young designers. Anyone visiting Senayan City can see the designers’ creations in exhibition area, as well as on the runway. Beside presenting Indonesian designers, the event will also parade latest collection from Senayan City’s tenants.
At the opening night of Fashion Nation 2012, there will be a fashion show from Denny Wirawan, Sapto Djojokartiko, Priyo Oktaviano and Ronald V. Gaghana. Fashion Nation will also have “Runway Hits”, a collaboration of Andrea Risjad with her brand ISIS, Ardistia New York, Ina Thomas with her label RockDarling and IKAT Indonesia by Didiet Maulana. Capsule collection presented in Runway Hits will also available at Fashion Nation Pop Up Boutique located at the Promenade area of Senayan City.
A number of fashion brands under MAP will participate in Fashion Nation 2012 through MAP Fashion Week. The brands include Topshop Topman, Stradivarius, Bershka, Debenhams and Marks & Spencer. Along with them, new collection from brands under Gagan Indonesia, such as Bebe and Promod, will be paraded as well. Also, don’t forget to watch Banana Republic, La Senza, GUESS new collection.
