Favorite Bags of Fall/Winter 2012 Runway

It’s a wild season for arm candies, and you, bag-junkies, would most likely have your eyes pop out. I have picked my favorites ranging from big, structured bags (like Alexander Wang’s) to cute, petite, not-sure-it-would-carry-anything purses (like Christopher Kane’s). Loving the variety this season gives.

I definitely had a hard time shortlisting my favorites, but nevertheless, here’s the Fall 2012 handbag hits:

STRUCTURED PIECES

BALENCIAGA

For Fall 2012, Balenciaga launches not only fierce but also wearable bags. This large carryalls would definitely hold our gazillion everyday knick-knacks, and I imagine the large straps would be comfortable.

DEREK LAM

MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA

MIUMIU

Bold and structured in traditional shapes, but thank God the colors save them from being boring.

PRETTY, PRETTY CLUTCHES

CHLOE

I adore how the clutches are structured yet dainty at the same time.

DIANE VON FURSTENBERG

Nothing beats the playfulness of this collection!

CHRISTOPHER KANE

I’m not sure if the purses would actually hold anything, but hey, at least we’d look like carrying a framed artwork!

THE CLASSIC, WITH A TWIST

CHANEL

The collection still retains the details and silhouette of the classic Channel bag we know and love. Except some of them are velvet. And way smaller. And in jewel tones. Oh my!

THE STAR OF THE NIGHT

MARNI

A definite head turner.

Imagine yourself a zillionaire: which one would you get?
