Today's Outfit; Day 1 & 3 Singapore Trip

Hanzky

Hanzky/ 15

I went to Singapore for Chinese New Year weekend last January. Finally a quick getaway out of the country! I didn’t get that in 2011. At all. In fact, the only time I went out of town in 2011 was last December, and only to Bandung. No wonder I was so cranky for the second half of 2011.

I left out Day 2 on purpose because I got to spend the whole day of day 2 in Universal Studios. So I will be posting tons of pictures 🙂

I left on Thursday night and arrived Singapore around 10 AM. I was glad I chose this top because it’s not wrinkle-prone. It’s also light but with long sleeves, so it gives me enough coverage for chilly AC temperature. This was also my first time wearing leopard print. I think I’ve always worn prints for airplane ride, to make stains look less visible should accident happens, which always seems to happen when you travel with two kids. Oh, this top originally had an elastic band at the hem, but it made my belly look balloony so I asked my maid to go to pasar in the morning, had it removed and hemmed.

Top: Dorothy Perkins
Denim Jeans: Top Shop. They are ankle length, perfect for a shorty like me
Shoes: Tory Burch Wedges
Bags: Tod’s

Agenda of Day 3 is to stroll around Orchard. Of course, H&M was in the list. Oh, how I miss my weekly pilgrimage to H&M 😀 I didn’t visit many stores though. I tried to limit to the stores that are not available here in Jakarta. I’m  trying to live with less, remember? :D. Early evening, we went to Clark Quay for some chickin’ wing at Hooters and met Rika, one of earlier members in the forum. It was definitely a nice and breezy night. It always brings back memories whenever we meet early members in the forum when everyone knew everyone 🙂

Dress: Mango. I love it so much that I also bought it in orange. Is that a getting old thing? Where you buy things in every color because you know it fits and you’re too lazy to find other style. Anyway, this dress is perfect for traveling. It’s light and can be worn either in dressy way or casual way, depending on your accessories.
Shoes: Tory Burch
Bags: Tod’s

It was nice catching up with you, Rik! Don’t forget to visit Female Daily HQ whenever you’re in town :).
