The three hairdressers are Andy Lie from Lie Salon, Medan; Arie Hidayat and Bambang Harryono from Arie&Harry Salon and Bridal, Surabaya; also Irwan Rovani Doke from Irwan Team Hair Design, Jakarta. This event was held to celebrate 10 years of L’Oreal Professionel dedication in Indonesia’s beauty industry.
“When the term ‘original beauty’ is interpreted for Indonesian women, it represents three types of Indonesian women facial feature: women that have typical Indonesian faces, oriental and Caucasian. Then the three hairdressers transform the look into two versions, pure and wild side,” said Yola Sutjiutomo, Group Product Manager of L’Oreal Professionel.
Andy Lie used Mahogany Brown as the basic color then he gave Copper Blonde as the highlight. If you want to apply the same color as the models have in pictures below, try L’Oreal Professionel Majirel 4.56 as the basic color, L’Oreal Professionel Majirel 8.45 and L’Oreal Professionel Majilift 13 as the highlight. The cutting is simple, you just to ask the hairdresser to cut your hair in classic bob. For the styling, create a natural big wave of your hair as shown in left picture below, or curl your hair and comb it to look a bit messy to achieve the look in the right picture. These two hair color and hairstyle are suitable for women with typical Indonesian face feature and skin tone.
Interpretation of Indonesian women with oriental face features is translated by Arie Hidayat and Bambang Harryono into the looks with Reddish Brown and round-length hair cutting. To achieve the color, you can try INOA 5.56 (Deep Mahogany) as the basic color and L’Oreal Professionel Majicontrast Magenta Red for crown area of the hair. You can blow dry your hair to get natural look or comb it upward to show off your wild side.
Last but not least, Irwan Rovani Doke combine Dark Golden Blonde as basic color with Very Light Copper Blonde as the highlight. This combination will suit Indonesian women with very light skin tone and Caucasian face feature. Interested to try the color, choose L’Oreal Professionel Majirel 6.3 as basic color and L’Oreal Professionel Majiblond 911 plus L’Oreal Professionel Majirel 7.43.
