Remember Fbudi, a local label that which had been reviewed in Fashionese Daily? It is exciting to see the label has been constantly creating more collections that we can find on its blog, website and Voila Store. Fbudi even expands its collection to menswear that available at Manekineko. The most thrilling news is that the designer behind Fbudi, Felicia Budi is nominated as Most Talented Young Designer in the upcoming Cleo Fashion Award 2011. As a brief introduction about Felicia Budi, she is an alumnus of London College of Fashion that had worked for ISSA London and BIN House. She loves to construct a design right on the mannequin so the clothes will fall perfectly on the body. She also loves texture and textile. No wonder that she keeps applying whimsical details into her creations without being overdone.

When I check Fbudi recent collection, “Bersemi”, I found a black-and-white layered dress with spaghetti straps that looks really nice. The cutting, designs looks cute while its loose fitting will hide any bulge around the tummy, and cover it with pleats. The dress costs Rp 790,000 and you can order it by sending email to fbudi.info@gmail.com. The dress is able to cater you sizes since it’s made by order. You can also select the preferred color among black, white, salmon pink and grey.

Aren’t you curious to know FBudi’s collection for the Cleo Fashion Award 2011 fashion show after seeing her pieces so far? For sure, it will be an entirely new collection titled “Noda Sejarah” which color pallet is dominated with creme and a touch of blue. The designer even showed us the Cleo fashion spread that features the collection. Here it is, the sneak peak of Fbudi collection for Cleo Fashion Award. Cant wait to watch the show 😀
