Galliano Jazzed Up Kate Moss' Wedding Dress

seo-img-article

The fashion world wild child, Kate Moss finally tied the knots on 1st of June 2011 to Jamie Hince. The rumour that she would be wearing a wedding dress designed by John Galliano was confirmed as she walked down the aisle in the beautiful white dress with bias cutting, lightly sequined and sheer overlay at a church in Southrop, England.

Albeit the recent scandal Galliano was involved in not so long ago, Moss certainly stood by her choice to have Galliano dress painted her important milestone in life. Galliano was also the one who designed her 21st and 30th birthday dresses and it was Galliano’s show where she walked for the first time. Indeed that their friendship has gone for a very long time.

It seems that Moss is a big fans of Zelda Fitzgerald, the wife of renown writer F. Scott Fitzgerald because not only that she’s wearing her engagement ring but according to industry sources that her wedding dress was inspired by Zelda Fitzgerald. You can see from the silhouette of the dress, the slightly off white colour and the gold transcending beautifully on the dress that it has a certain romantic jazzy feel to it although it still exudes her hippie energy.  To complete off the look to her wedding dress, Moss chose a pair of Manolo Blahnik. Whereas the groom, Jamie Hince, wore a suit by Yves Saint Laurent.

Have a fabulous marriage life Kate Moss! I always love how you experimented with your style.
