Skincare Arsenal: Erweniati

seo-img-article

Inspired by Deszell’s post, I took a chance and asked FD whether or not a member may post her arsenal. I was so excited when Hanzky and Deszell said yes.

I’ve been known as a member who gets influenced easily by practically every skincare that’s been hyped in the forum. Say BRTC, UNT skin care, Natasha, Paula’s Choice, Egyptian Magic Cream, Beauty Magic Cream, Erhalogy, Tabitha, Wardah, VitacremeB12, and the last but certainly not the least, Hada Labo. I’ve tried them all. So, which ones (yep, it’s plural) do I end up using?

Morning

  1. Hada Labo AHA/BHA Foam Wash. Just like Deszell, I got this around last week and instantly fell in love with it.  Squeaky clean and wonderful to the touch.
  2. Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid (SHA) Lotion. I’ve been using this for a month and I think I’m going to use it forever! “One drop locks up an ocean” is the tag line for this lotion, and it’s true. It instantly adds you skin’s water level and keeps it moist for a good 6-8 hours. It is supposed to be a pre-moisturizing step, but since my skin is basically oily, I only need to use this before sunblock and I’m all good for the day. Oh, you need to slap your face around with this lotion to get it fully absorbed and I must admit, it hurts at first! But you’ll get used to it. :p
  3. Nivea Sun Protect Water Milk SPF 50+ PA+++. This has been my long loved sunscreen product. It’s waterproof, high in SPF and non-oily and no white cast! Too bad this is rather hard to get as it’s only available in Japan. I hope Singapore’s Watsons will carry this sunblock soon.
  4. Night

  5. UNT Huille Demaquillante Cleansing Oil. Super clean cleansing oil! I wear waterproof mascara every day and this cleansing oil wipes it clean without leaving me with panda eyes. The other cleansing oil I use is:
  6. Muji Cleansing Oil for sensitive skin. I use this in my lazy nights because the UNT one needs to be rinsed with lukewarm water, and I don’t have water heater at home. Muji is thicker than UNT and does not wipe clean my Majolica Majorca super waterproof mascara. So, I need to use L’oreal Gentle Lip and Eye Makeup Remover afterwards. (Forgot to take the picture of this makeup remover).
  7. Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Light Foam Wash. THIS.IS.HEAVEN. I’m not kidding! I’ve been using this for a month and I must say that this is the most comforting cleanser I have ever used in my whole entire life. It is super soft, non-drying yet non-oily. I can’t explain it. Honestly, I sometimes could not resist washing my face twice in the evening just because I love this thing so very much! No doubt I will buy this again and again and again.
  8. Hada Labo Arbutin Lotion. This is similar to SHA Lotion, with addition of whitening effect. It absorbs faster than the SHA one, but somehow leaves skin a little stickier. That’s why I choose to use it at night. Another slapping episode is needed to get this absorbed.
  9. Okay, this is where it gets confusing… I own many moisturizers that are too moist/oily for my mornings ritual, so I only wear them at nights. And buying altogether out of greediness and curiosity, I am now forced to alternate their use. They are:

  10. Egyptian Magic Cream. For those of you who have not read the thread, you are missing out so much! It was hyped around a year ago and as predicted, I bought it too. But I’ve only started wearing it on my face since last December. Will post my review on this separately.
  11. Hada Labo Arbutin Milk. This is the moisturizing step from Hada Labo. Texture wise, it’s quite lightweight and one drop (pea size) is all I need to keep my skin moisturized through the night. I’d slap my face to get this milk absorbed as well, out of habit. 😀 The next morning, my skin would feel soft, supple n fresh.
  12. Hada Labo SHA Milk. I have only worn this once to test it. It is less sticky than the Arbutin one so I think it would suit just about everyone. And for those with dry-normal to combination skin, you can wear this as part of your mornings ritual. I think I’ll wear this again after finishing my arbutin milk, which is probably… next year?
  13. Erhalogy Under Eye Suppressor. This product is to reduce eye bag and dark circles. No visible result has shown but I intend to keep wearing it for at least 2 bottles.
  14. Hada Labo Arbutin Essence. You can tell by now that I am obsessed in getting whiter skin. Haha! By now, I believe only Tabitha skin care can deliver that, but due to not knowing exactly the ingredients and how safe they are for long term use, I decided to quit them. This essence is quite sticky, so it’s impossible for me to wear this during the day. This is to be worn after the milk. Haven’t seen any visible result in whitening, but I will wear this more religiously, hoping at least it’ll help reduce my acne spots.
  15. UNT Acerola Brightening Exfoliator. This is a great granule-free exfoliator. I use this twice a week and it does make skin instantly brighter! I think this is another product I dare to say will use forever.
  16. Menard Herb Mask. I forgot to take a pic of this but you can read my review on this here.

Done! *Fiuh.* 🙂

Thank you to my dearest friend, FD member bluebelle, for CP-ing all my Hada Labo skincare and help me scratch that itch to give in to the latest hype 😀
