Ever wondered how it is to smell a crystal? Swarovski will answer that curiosity by launching its debut fragrance, Aura by Swarovski. Swarovski creates the fragrance together with Groupe Clarins. This fruity floral fragrance combines notes of amber, benzoin resin, white musk, lychee, pure white tuberose and pink pepper.
All the grace and the magnetism of light are said to be the inspiration of this fragrance, according to Joël Palix, president of Clarins Fragrance Group. “What I personally love about this first launch is it has modernity and yet it feels timeless,” he continued. “Clarins and Swarovski really share the same values,” said Markus Langes-Swarovski, a member of the Swarovski board and the great-great grandson of the company’s founder, Daniel Swarovski.
Aura will come in 3o ml, 50 ml and 75 ml and approximately priced at $68, $91 and $110. It will be launched exclusively in Selfridges, UK, on March 3. Afterward, the fragrance will be launched worldwide on April 1. But there are some exception; for those who live in China, they will have to wait Aura introduced in the nation until September. While people on US need to wait even longer, which is on 2012.
The collaboration between Clarins and Swarovski doesn’t stop there; together they also create beauty products in the form of pendants that consists containing glosses for the lip, face and body. The formulas include micronized Swarovski crystal and Crystal Shine iridescent pearls. So which one is more interesting for you, the fragrance or the beauty products?
