The Mysteriously Beautiful Ryuga

Appreciation of great design should not be limited to those of clothes and handbags only, right ladies? :D I recently found myself transfixed in front of a beautifully-designed object, rooted to my spot and  unable to take my eyes off of every detail of this stunning beauty.

It was a car. But not just every other car. It’s a concept car from Mazda called Ryuga (in Japanese, it means flowing gracefully) which has won Louis Vuitton Classic Concept Award. It was truly a marvelous sight to see.

Anyway, I saw Ryuga during the opening of Indonesian International Motor Show 2010 on last Friday, at JIEXPO Kemayoran. If you are hunting for a new car, this is the place to be this weekend!

Do visit Mazda section in Hall A and check out their stylish cars: Mazda6, CX-7, CX-9, RX-8 and of course, the winner of World Car of the Year, Mazda2 hatchback and sedan!

There are many surprises that await should you decide to make any purchase there, for example: every purchase of Mazda2 hatchback and sedan will entitle you for a free audio kit (DVD player and TV tuner). There are also free Singapore vacation (3 days, 2 nights, business class tickets) for all purchase of Mazda6, Mazda CX-7, Mazda CX-9 and Maxda RX-8. You will also get a chance to win the lucky draw, which is a 5 days, 4 nights trip to Japan for 2 people!

Some tips, if you’re planning to visit IIMS2010:

  • The area is HUGE so be sure to wear comfortable shoes
  • There is a small playground for kids but I imagine it will be very full during the weekend so you might want to reconsider bringing along your toddlers

IIMS 2010 is open from 23rd of July – 1st of August 2010.
